Why
Group chats are noisy. Copy-paste is slow.
In a group chat everyone sees everyone's number, replies go to the whole group, and the one important message gets buried. Sending the same text to twenty people by hand takes ages, and it's easy to miss someone.
MASSenger sits in between. You prepare the message once, and the app walks you through sending it to each person separately. It fills in their name and keeps track of who has already got it.

Write once
One message for everyone, with each person's name in it.

- Labels
- Put [IMPORTANT], [REMINDER] or [SCHEDULE UPDATE] at the start, each with its own colour. Add your own.
- Snippets
- Phrases you use all the time, like “Please confirm receipt.”, added with one tap.
- Signature
- Added at the end automatically, like “– Anna, Café Rosa”. Switch it off for a single message when you need to.
- SMS counter
- Shows how many SMS parts a message will take before you send it.
- Templates
- For the messages you send every week: a shift change, a reminder. Mark favourites and give each one a default label and group.
Choose many
Your people, in groups that make sense.
- Recipients and groups
- Keep everyone in one place and sort them into groups: the team, the parents, the tenants.
- Three ways to add people
- Pick them from Contacts, several at once or one by one. Type a name and number. Or paste a whole list, and the app finds the numbers and points out anything that looks wrong.
- No double messages
- +48 600…, 0048 600… and 600… are the same person, and the app knows it. Nobody gets the message twice.
- Pinned groups
- Put the groups you write to most on the Home screen and start a message with one tap.
- Leave someone out, just this once
- Untick a person for one message. The group itself stays as it is.
Check, then send
Every message goes out on its own. You press Send.
Before you start, you can see the message exactly as any recipient will get it. The app warns you about people without a valid number, numbers chosen twice, and placeholders like {date} that it doesn't recognise.
- One by one
- Each message opens in Apple's Messages app and you tap Send. The next person opens straight after.
- Pause whenever you like
- Come back later and carry on. Nobody who already has it gets it again.
- Safe if something interrupts you
- If a call comes in or the app closes, that person is marked as unconfirmed. The app never re-sends anything on its own.
- Skip or handle it another way
- Skip someone, or mark them as done if you've called them instead. Retry the unsent ones with one tap.
History
You always know who got it.
Every sending is saved with the status of each person. Send the same message again to the same people, retry only the ones that didn't go out, or turn it into a template.

Switch the language inside the app, whatever your iPhone is set to. Light, dark or system appearance, haptics, and a data export whenever you want it.

Privacy
Your contacts stay on your iPhone.
- No account, no login, no server.
- The app only receives the people you pick from Contacts, never your whole address book.
- No tracking, no ads, no analytics.
- Messages are sent by Apple's Messages app, and only after you tap Send.

Pro is a single payment, not a subscription. Restore it on any device with the same Apple ID.
Good to know
- Needs an iPhone with iOS 17 or later that can send text messages (a SIM card or iMessage).
- “Sent” means you tapped Send in Messages. iOS doesn't tell apps whether a text was delivered.
- SMS costs depend on your mobile plan.
- iOS doesn't let any app send texts on its own in the background, so you confirm every message. That's also what keeps it personal.
