This Privacy Policy explains how the iOS app MASSenger for Notices ("MASSenger", "the App") handles information. The short version: the App is designed so that we never receive your data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.

3. Information you store in the App

To work, the App lets you save the following on your device only:

• Recipients: first name, last name, phone number and an optional note.
• Groups, templates, labels and snippets you create.
• History of sendings: the message text, the list of recipients and the status of each message (e.g. "Sent", "Skipped").
• Settings: app language, appearance, signature, default label and similar preferences.

This information is never transmitted to the Developer or to any third party by the App. It is kept on your iPhone until you delete it, delete the App, or use Settings → Reset App Data.

Backups by Apple

If you have iCloud Backup or computer backups turned on, iOS may include the App's data in your own device backup. Those backups are controlled by you and processed by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. The Developer has no access to them.

The App does not request permission to access your Contacts and cannot read your address book.

When you choose "Add from Contacts", iOS shows Apple's own contact picker. The App receives only the contacts (names and phone numbers) that you select, and saves them locally as recipients. Nothing else from your address book is shared with the App.

5. Sending messages

The App does not send text messages by itself. For each recipient it opens Apple's Messages composer with the prepared text. You tap Send for every single message.

• Messages are sent by Apple (SMS/MMS through your mobile carrier, or iMessage), under Apple's and your carrier's terms.
• iOS only tells the App whether you tapped Send, Cancel, or whether sending failed. The App does not know whether a message was delivered and cannot read replies or your conversations.
• Any costs for SMS/MMS are charged by your mobile carrier according to your plan.

6. In-app purchase (MASSenger Pro)

The optional one-time purchase of MASSenger Pro is processed entirely by Apple (App Store). We do not receive your name, Apple ID, email or payment details. The App only receives from Apple a confirmation of whether Pro has been purchased on your Apple ID, so it can unlock Pro features. Apple's handling of purchases is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

7. Export

Settings → Export My Data creates a file (JSON) with your recipients, groups, templates, labels and snippets. The file is created on your iPhone and leaves the device only if you decide to share or save it (e.g. to Files, AirDrop or email). Once you share it, the place you send it to is responsible for it, not the Developer.

8. Your responsibility for other people's data

The phone numbers and names you save belong to other people (your recipients). Because we never receive this data, you decide about it and you are responsible for it, in particular:

• You should add only people you have a legitimate reason to contact and who you may lawfully message (for example members of your team, club, class or family).
• If you use the App for business or organisational purposes, you may be the data controller for your recipients' data under the GDPR and other applicable law, and you are responsible for meeting those obligations (e.g. informing people, honouring requests to stop messaging them).
• The App must not be used to send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, harassment, or any unlawful content. You are solely responsible for the content of messages you send and for complying with laws on electronic communication and marketing.

The Developer does not check, monitor or moderate messages and is not responsible for how the App is used.

9. Legal basis (GDPR)

Because the Developer does not collect or process personal data through the App, no processing takes place on our side that would require a legal basis.

If you contact us by email, we will process your email address and the content of your message only to reply to you (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep such correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and any related claims, and we do not share it with anyone except our email provider.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete and restrict processing of your personal data, to data portability and to object. Since all App data is stored on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly in the App: edit or delete people and messages, use Export My Data, use Reset App Data, or delete the App.

11. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, e.g. 16 in Poland) and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. As we collect no data at all, no children's data is received by us.

12. Security

Your data is protected by your iPhone's own security (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID and iOS data protection). Please keep your device locked and up to date. We cannot recover data that you delete or that is lost together with your device.

13. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for messages that are not sent, delayed, not delivered or sent to wrong numbers, for carrier charges, or for loss of data stored on your device. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law. Use of the App is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when the App gets new features. The current version is always available at https://builtintheattic.com/apps/massenger/privacy-policy/ and in the App under Settings → Privacy. If a change means the App starts handling data in a new way, we will describe it clearly before it takes effect.
